How secure is SeerBit?

Modified on Thu, 21 Nov at 6:04 AM

SeerBit prioritizes the security of its platform to ensure a safe payment environment for its users. Here are some key security measures in place:

  • Certification and EncryptionSeerBit holds the highest level of certification as a PCI Service Provider Level 1, which means it meets rigorous security standards. All connections to SeerBit's services are securely encrypted using TLS 1.2 (SSL) over HTTPS, providing a protected channel for data transmission.
  • Card Data ProtectionSeerBit employs robust measures to safeguard card information. Card details are encrypted using AES-256 GCM encryption, and the decryption keys are stored separately on a dedicated machine. This means that even SeerBit's personnel and systems cannot access the plain numbers of stored cards. SeerBit's systems can only request card details to be sent to a trusted service provider.
  • Fraud PreventionSeerBit has implemented an intelligent decision support system to assess the risk level of transactions and customers. This system employs advanced rules and algorithms that analyze multiple factors, including geolocation, IP addresses, purchase history, behavioural patterns, and more. Transactions that fail to meet the necessary security checks are blocked from payment. SeerBit's Fraud & Dispute Team continually works to enhance fraud detection processes and identify patterns to improve the overall fraud prevention system.

By implementing these stringent security measures, SeerBit aims to provide a secure and trustworthy payment processing platform for its users.
